Garment Manufacturing  

Our manufacturing operation spans 23,000 square metres with an approximate production capacity of more than 150,000 units produced per week. Facilities include a fully automated cutting room plus centralised sampling and embroidery units.

Laundry

Dewhirst is ideally placed to manage complex washing and dyeing procedures via our own fully equipped laundry. Our workforce is trained in technical excellence and efficient productivity across a broad repertoire of finishes and garment detailing.

The laundry features advanced technology including a laboratory equipped with spectrophotometer for quality control testing. We utilise fully automated Smartex washing machines for the application of garment over-dyeing.

We also have special capabilities in resin and storm finishes as well as, grinding, scraping and PP spray.

Laboratory

Full service onsite laboratory accredited by Intertek Testing Services to carry out comprehensive, technical garment testing to industry standards & in line with customer requirements.

Cambodia – Manufacturing

Established in 2011 Dewhirst Cambodia (Co) Ltd is a wholly owned, purpose built, world class tailoring facility.

Current capacity allows for 17,000 jackets, 30,000 trousers and 2,000 waistcoats per week. We employ over 2,300 employees with the potential to add a further 1,000 and expand the capacity further.

Our onsite teams manage all aspects of the manufacturing process from start to finish to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout. Design, product development, sampling, sourcing and production through to despatch are all managed by highly qualified onsite teams. We place a high emphasis on technical capability which is supported by the strong technical team encompassing a wealth of experience and expertise across our product range.

United Kingdom – Sportswear

Congleton is located in the heart of rural Cheshire, within easy reach of Manchester International Airport & a couple of hours from London by high speed train link. Congleton is close to Manchester and Liverpool, cities which are dominated by sport and home to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Everton football clubs. During the Industrial Revolution of the 18th and 19th century Greater Manchester was the epicentre for textile manufacture using cotton imported through the port at Liverpool and transported via a network of canals.
